Chairman's Address
It had been very interesting of almost two eventful years of covid-19 pandemic which had changed drastically in the way we meet together for worship and fellowship.
On this 24th AGM, let us unite our hearts to remember and to be thankful to our Heavenly Father for His continuous goodness in seeing us through the entire period of lockdown followed by some relaxation but still restrictive in having our worship service, prayer meetings and many other meetings.
Despite the restrictions and the many inconveniences, let us strive “to consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as we see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:24, 25
I want to thank God specifically for:
-
holding our hands and walking us through this pandemic crisis in the manner with which we still can continue to worship, pray and ‘meet’ for the edification of the Body of Christ in ZLSCC.
-
seeing some of us who were stricken by the covid-19 virus through with His grace and divine healing.
-
the pastors, worship team and the PA crew who have made themselves readily available to working relentlessly in the setup of Zoom and Facebook digital platform for our regular ‘meetings’, ensuring no compromise in the quality of sound and video facilities throughout the Online Service.
The Lord has always been faithful in carrying ZLSCC through every year for the last 24 years and as ZLSCC enters its 25th year, I want to encourage every member to faithfully “let our light so shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
