Intercession

Our God is the LORD who created the heaven and earth and everything that lives in there. In John 1:3, the bible tells us that God created everything through Jesus Christ, and nothing was created except through him. Jesus Christ is God came in the flesh, more than 2,000 years ago, born as a man, to save this world from eternal death.

Every person sins and the wages of sin is death.  Jesus Christ took on the sins of the entire universal, died on the cross and paid for mankind’s freedom with His blood.  This is the love of God for mankind. A promise was given in John 3:16 that whoever believes in Jesus Christ, and accepts Him as the Lord and Saviour, shall not perish but have eternal life.

It is for this reason that the Church exists; to bring the message of hope and love of Jesus Christ to all. The LORD gave His children a promise in the bible:

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). This explains why the Church prays.

In ZLSCC, the ministry of prayer and intercession serves it's primary purpose to pray for the fulfilment of God’s kingdom to come and for God’s will to be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
