Community Evangelism Ministry

CEM works closely with MKFC in reaching the families and children in the Community.

We had an eventful year with 3 CommuniTea gatherings, volunteered for LCSS Christmas Extravaganza for all her beneficiaries at Leisure Park Kallang and ended the year with a blast with Christmas at Community at MKFC.

It was exciting to see the community having ownership of our organised events. Some parents even took over the kitchen at MKFC and cooked their signature dishes at couple of our gatherings. It was so fulfilling to see them and us putting hearts and hands to make the events a success and with everyone enjoying the foods.

A New Start

In the second half of the year, MKFC piloted the KidStart programme at various hinterlands. We partnered with her and did house visitations to introduce the new programme.

During the Christmas season, we volunteered at the Christmas Extravaganza at Kallang Leisure Park with some of us involved in child minding the beneficiaries that were invited and some manned the game stalls. A superb effort by the organiser in coupling the festive cheer and revealing the meaning of Christmas at one event. To allow more to hear of the good news, we topped it off with Christmas at Community to a different set of children at MKFC.

Thanksgiving

Truly, God is good in giving us all these families and the children that came for all our events, making available the various venues and programmes and the Church involved in praying and volunteering.

We ended 2017 with a successful outreach and a memorable experience for Zion.
