To align with the mission for the year to Go Therefore, a team of 26 set out to Manorom and Suphanburi for the M.E.T. Thailand from 11 to 15 June 2017.
The trippers accomplished the feat of conducting English language teachings at the schools and held gospel rallies by engaging the students in a series of games involving the use of English language.
They shared the gospel message with a skit and their personal testimonies to the student assemblies and God moved the hearts of the students with many responded to the altar call after each rally to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
We were even treated to a special appointment with two pre-believing teachers from China who were on a teaching exchange programme in one of the schools we were at and they were open to the gospel.
God is indeed harvesting the land!
After we left the land, we received an update that more students at the school in Ratchaprachanukrao are joining Sister Busakorn for Bible lessons!
Thailand 2017 was also an exciting and eventful trip as we witnessed our youths partnering with the adults in reaching the Nations (people groups) for Jesus.
Many youths reflected a greater admiration for the passion and energy that they saw in the senior church members on the trip. We thank God for the 15 youths, with some having their very first mission experience, fulfilling the call to “Go, Therefore”; more than just intellectually knowing the command, but obeying and going, for God. This indeed is a milestone to be cherished!
We praise the Lord that despite of the fact that this Mission Trip is the first of its kind for the trippers, it went on well.
